KES OHANA 2009 MEMBERSHIP DRIVE-SIGN UP
KES Ohana Membership Drive is just $5 per family. Join and you will help provide the following enriching activities for your child: Computers/Equipment & supplies, Citizenship and Superstar awards, Reading Program, Science Curriculum, textbooks, May Day supplies, Grade 4 Luau, Grade 6 Turtle Bay Overnighter, Music Program, Peer Mediation Program, Grade-Level Assistance Fund, Physical Fitness Meet, Leadership Camp, Library and Classroom subscriptions & more. Thank you for your support!
As an added incentive, the 3 classes with the highest percentage of participation will be rewarded with coupons for frozen treats sold on Wednesday after school.
1st Place: 3 coupons
2nd Place: 2 coupons
3rd Place: 1 coupon.

OHANA FUNDRAISER
You can begin to turn in your monies, unsold tickets or donations. All monies and unsold tickets are due back on Friday, August 28, 2009. Don't forget the fundraiser pick up is on Saturday, September 19, 2009. 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Your child has tickets for:
10 - Regal Food 15 oz. Banana Nut Cake
10 - The Pizza Shop 2 pack 6” pizzas
10 - Regal Foods 1 lb, 2 oz. Cinnamon Bread
10 - Pacific Sausage 14 oz. Giant Portuguese Sausage.
All these products are manufactured from locally owned companies.
Please do not let your children sell these tickets door to door unless you accompany them. We would rather you call friends and relatives to sell the fundraising tickets. If you would rather make a donation than sell the fundraising tickets, you may do so. The suggested amount is $50, but whatever you can give is greatly appreciated.

Lucky number drawing: Four students will win $50.
Students will get one entry for every 20 tickets sold or $50 donated.

    Safeway is continuing their "E-Script" program, which donates a portion of the customers purchase to the shoppers' designated non-profit organization (Our school escrip # is 7282544). There is no cost or work for the customer other than your regular grocery shopping. Our KES Ohana will register you if you send in your Name, Address, and Safeway Number to the school office or email it to Mr. Otani or register online at http://www.escrip.com
